Installation

Hantofix installs in two minutes. You don't need Python, drivers or any other program: everything is included.

The Hantofix app itself is in French; the buttons are named below.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
  • About 1 GB of free disk space
  • Dofus installed on the same PC
  • An internet connection (the licence is checked continuously)

Install Hantofix

  1. Download the installer

    Download Hantofix v1.3.13 (about 380 MB).

  2. Run the downloaded file

    Double-click the downloaded Hantofix-Setup file.

    Windows shows "Windows protected your PC"?
    That's normal for new software. Click More info, then Run anyway.

  3. Follow the installer

    Keep the suggested folder (or pick another one), then click Installer (Install). No administrator rights are needed.

  4. Open Hantofix

    A shortcut is created on the Desktop and in the Start menu. Carry on with the tutorial to create your account and start Detection AI.

Windows blocks the installation

On some Windows 11 PCs, Smart App Control blocks recent software that Microsoft doesn't know yet, without offering "Run anyway". The message looks like "Smart App Control blocked an app that may be unsafe". Hantofix is affected until its signing certificate is in place.

  1. Open the Smart App Control settings

    Start menu → Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control settings.

    You can also type Smart App Control in the Start menu search.

  2. Choose "Off"

    Windows asks for confirmation: accept. Microsoft Defender antivirus and the SmartScreen filter stay on and keep protecting your PC.

  3. Run the installer again

    Double-click Hantofix-Setup again. If the blue "Windows protected your PC" screen appears, click More info then Run anyway.

Good to know: on some versions of Windows 11, Smart App Control can't be turned back on once it has been turned off (unless you reinstall Windows). If you'd rather not turn it off, contact us from the app or on WhatsApp.

Updates

When a new version comes out, Hantofix announces it on opening with a Mise à jour disponible (Update available) banner. Click Mettre à jour (Update): the download takes a few minutes, then the installation starts by itself. Your account, licence and settings are kept.

A mandatory update must be installed before you can start Detection AI again. It usually fixes an important problem.

Uninstall

Open Windows Settings → Apps, look for Hantofix, then click Uninstall. Your licence stays attached to your account: to use it on another PC, contact us so we can release the old device.
